Mizanur’s interdisciplinary practice plays with different media, ranging from installation, assemblage, video, collage, sculpture, found footage, experimental film to conjure a multifaceted artistic universe. As an inter-media artist he creates space and with still and moving content, archival and contemporary imagery while engaging new experimental territories with vast potentials. The project of his work is institutive, fluid, adaptive and ongoing. Recently he is awarded Prohelvetia studio residency 2021 (Switzerland) by Prohelvetia New Delhi and Alserkal summer residency 2021(Dubai). He has received Samdani Art Award 2018 and a residency in Delfina Foundation in London. His work has been shown in various exhibitions such as, Dhaka Art Summit (2018 & 2020), Chobi Mela X International Photography Festival (2019), Serendipity Arts Festival, Goa, India (2019), India Art Fair 2019, A Finger on the Pulse, Delhi, India (2018) Self-Identity, National Museum of Bangladesh (2016), ‘Mourn’ a process based art show, Dhaka Art Centre (2013), Only God Can Judge Me (OGCJM collective, 2012) Dhaka, ‘How Are You?’ at Community space Litmaus gallery, South Korea (2012).
